Sydney's Mardi Gras is really something quite special, throwing up new production challenges each year.
One of the highlights on the parade was the ‘Lifesavers with Pride’ float. For the last 4 years, Action Sound has turned ideas into reality, making this float really stand out from the crowd.
There is quite an art to mounting a large amount of sound and lighting equipment to the back of a truck, and the hundred or more lifesavers dancing behind had full nightclub quality sound and lighting for the event. Ear plugs were supplied for the dancers..a must given the high quality and volume of the production.
Next year, we may include sunglasses!

Action Sound likes to keep busy on New Years Eve. One of our favourite venues is the prime City of Sydney VIP viewing area at Dawes Point.

This year it was all about the party. ‘Awaken the Spirit’ was the concept theme for NYE 2009 and mirror balls were the feature....lots of them!
